The garden of Moulin Jaune was flooded on Friday, the water reached an exceptional level. The final opening of the season has been CANCELLED.
Last Thursday, when the river was going to invade us for the 4th time this season, we had planned to roll up our sleeves once again and beautify the garden to welcome you next weekend. But we did not know that it would be “the flood of the century”, and that despite our good will and that of our volunteers, it would not be possible in one week to restore the garden to the state of your dreams.
We have suffered damage that requires major repairs and have no choice but to end this aquatic year and start our winter work now. See you from the beginning of May 2025 for the spring reopening of a new season.
We give our full support to our neighbors, colleagues and friends on the banks of the Grand Morin and Crécy-la-Chapelle who have suffered these floods of unprecedented magnitude.
If you have tickets for this last weekend, you can get a refund by clicking on the link at the bottom of the message you will receive and then “manage my order”. You can choose to support us in this difficult time by choosing as an alternative to generate a credit for the 2025 season or to donate all or part of the amount of your ticket.
You can donate money to restore the garden or come and help with hands and feet.
Any help is welcome. Contact us info@moulinjaune.com
