Détails de l'événement
Days of Italian culture and the art of savoring the moment, following in the footsteps of Pulcinella character from Commedia dell’Arte.
The element of the universally beloved character of Italian culture, will soar through the gardens of Moulin Jaune, as a sage and connoisseur of the art of beautiful living! His cheerful and carefree spirit lights up hearts with joy and light, as quickly and delightfully as Pulcinella fills his belly with delicious treats. Pizza, pasta, cheeses, limoncello, tomatoes, basil, and much more will fill the picnic fields on this days.
The famous silhouette of Pulcinella features a noticeable belly, eagerly rushing forward in search of adventures, dancing, the clinking of glasses, and voices that cascade from tinkling giggles to thunderous roars of laughter.
We invite you to join this Italian aria, celebrating the joy of existence and to create your own image of Pulcinella: dance, prance, skip, hop on one leg or hand—bring your own note, create your own version of Pulcinella character, and enjoy this day together in the gardens of Moulin Jaune.

L'heure
7 (Samedi) 11:30 - 9 (Lundi) 18:30
description
The garden will stay open even if it rains. Bring your umbrellas or raincoats and breathe in the post-rain garden aroma. That’s exactly how gardens are enjoyed in Asia!
Children will be responsible for their parents and vice versa. Most of art objects at Moulin Jaune are rather fragile, so even though we encourage you to release your inner child, we also hope that you treat our garden with care and attention.
Dress-code
We always recommend to dress up according to the theme of the event if you really want to creatively plunge into becoming part of the atmosphere. For the October 12th-13th we hope you choose to wear like Pulcinella.
Filming
We film and photograph all our events, so chances are our cameras might catch you. These images might later be used for promotional materials of any kind or be placed on our website or social media. Should you have any objections against this, please inform us first thing at the entrance.
Dogs can bring their owners, on a leash, only if wearing a theme-inspired accessory. We prefer, however, that dogs who find pleasure in duck-hunting or child-smooching stay home. We also trust that you bring a small waste-bag to clean after your four legged friend.
Seating. There are chairs, benches, straw bales, etc. for picnics or breaks during the visit.
In case the event gets cancelled due to sanitary, geopolitical or any other unpredictable reasons, you can transfer your ticket to a later event or get a full refund if such transfer is impossible.

Détails de l'événement
Blue, the color of the skies,
Was the first I recognized
Blue, its mystery beguiled
The pure senses of a child.
It’s the color of my dreams,
Of elusive starry streams,
It has flown around the Earth
Since the moment of her birth.
Nikoloz Baratachvili translated by Olga Dumer
Blue note, blue jeans, blue sky. Stretch out on the grass, dive into the blue and fly to the inner creative space. Watch the clouds paint surreal pictures.
To relax in a cosy living room in the middle of a birch forest, without walls and ceiling, where the furniture is painted in Delft style. Visit the caboose on a ship anchored in the air. Lose yourself in the columns propping up the sky. Meet all together at a long mirrored table, pass the salt and suddenly find your reflection in the deep blue space.

Sorrows slumber deeply.
Clocks don’t run on time.
Couch potatoes rest so sweetly
That dragonflies their clothes design.
Now be still. Don’t move there.
Into the shade you crawl
Join us in our idleness
Young and old and all!

The garden of Moulin Jaune is dedicating this mid-summer weekend to experimenting with the art of the siesta.
Farniente picnics ( the art of doing nothing) – endless Shavasana. Poetic landscape at the river bank. Raw power of Nature’s harmony. The sun at its zenith, children on vacation, time blissfully slowing down, birds chirping, water splashing, voices singing, hammocks and chaise-lounges, grass and straw bales. Summer fruits in your picnic baskets. Refreshing drinks in our bars.
Dress-code: White
We were so lazy that we reused the same theme and the same poster as the past two years…
This weekend is part of the Jardins ouverts en Ile de France.
