The Yellow Windmill turns into Little Italy

On June 7, 8 & 9, the Moulin Jaune transforms into a little Italy, where Pulcinella-actors live side by side with Pulcinella-guests in the garden. Together they celebrate joy and life — feasting, dancing, drinking, singing… with no sleep !

Who is Pulcinella?

Pulcinella is a bird-like soul. A hooked nose, a timeless gaze, and a walk like he just wrote a song. He laughs, then sighs — when someone forgets to salt life.

Then boom! — he’s dancing again, singing again, spinning the wheel of joy.

Hungry for pasta, for wine, for glances… for wonder. Especially for wonder.

He’s born anew every single day — like hatching from an egg. Ridiculous. Magnificent. Stubbornly alive.

He cheats death not for laughs, but simply because — he doesn’t have time. He’s too busy playing, dancing, living in a never-ending carnival.

His truth? You don’t need to explain a thing. He is the answer without a question. The joy without a reason.

Wanna sing? Sing.

Wanna dance? Dance.

Wanna be a fool? Be a glorious one.

And maybe, just maybe… the whole world will stop and think: “What if he’s right?”

The new season at the Moulin Jaune begins with a Yellow Promenade on May 17 & 18. Soft and light as chick fluff, warm like a spring sunbeam, delicious as spaghetti… This golden day is the first sign of Pulcinella’s Carnival, hatching from a giant egg!
