04 Feb Garden as art – April 2026
The project “Garden as art” is a seven-day training program at Slava Polunin’s creative laboratory “Moulin Jaune” near Paris, from April 13 to 19, 2026 (in Russian).
What’s in store for you?
- You will learn about the idea of theatricalizing everyday life and see how it comes to life in the garden;
- You will discover how the garden works — awarded the “Remarkable Garden” label alongside Versailles and Fontainebleau, and recognized as regional heritage of Île-de-France;
- You will learn to sense and understand nature with the help of experienced guides;
- You will gain many practical skills for working with and engaging with the garden;
- You will become a full member of Slava Polunin’s team and learn professional techniques for preparing celebrations.
Atelier program
- Guided tour of the Moulin Jaune gardens
- Introduction to the colored gardens and the philosophy of theatricalizing everyday life
- Creative, floral, and culinary workshops
- Taking part in organizing the season-opening celebration as creators
- A film about Slava Polunin that hasn’t been released yet
- A photo shoot in the gardens with outfit/styling selection
- Finnish sauna

Tatyana Besarab – a landscape designer with twenty years of experience, a florist, and for 10 years has been caring for the Moulin Jaune garden, recognized as a remarkable garden and a heritage site of regional importance in Île-de-France.

Price
The atelier and three meals a day — 3000 euros
Travel and accommodation are paid separately
Installment payments are available.
You can pay a 30% deposit when booking and pay the remaining 70% later.
The deposit must be paid by March 1, 2026; full payment is due by April 11, 2026.
If the group is not formed by March 1, the 30% deposit will be returned to your account.
Accommodation
You can choose from several unusual options:

Spend the night in a real Korean pagoda, built without a single nail (for 2 people)

Spend the night in the Orange House like the Mill’s artist-residents. Accommodation: 2 people per room; the toilet and shower are shared between two rooms

For thrill-seekers who want to try real gypsy life — a wagon with the toilet and shower 200 meters away
