Détails de l'événement

The Garden of Moulin Jaune opens the season with a petal twirl and ushers in the Spring season with Hanami: the legendary Japanese poetic tradition of enjoying the transient beauty of Sakura.

We invite you to celebrate the blossoming trees and tune in with your rose-shaded clothing. Or sport a trendy outfit daring enough to impress Tokyo youth from hipster Harajuki. Or throw on a Kimono if you gravitate towards classics. As the final touch, change your vision of the world and put on your rose-tinted glasses!

Pack your own food in bento lunch-boxes, bring it along in furoshiki bags or buy it at our local cafe.

*Dress-code: rose, kimono or the style of Japanese Harajuki.

You can find inspiration at kimono exhibition in the museum of art and cultures of Africa and Oceania at Museum Quai Branly.

description

The garden will stay open even if it rains. Bring your umbrellas or raincoats and breathe in the post-rain garden aroma. That’s exactly how gardens are enjoyed in Japan!

Children will be responsible for their parents and vice versa. Most of art objects at Moulin Jaune are rather fragile, so even though we encourage you to release your inner child, we also hope that you treat our garden with care and attention.

Dress-code
We always recommend to dress up according to the theme of the event if you really want to creatively plunge into becoming part of the atmosphere. For April 22-23 we hope you choose to wear rose clothing, be as trendy as Harajuki or throw on a kimono.

Filming
We film and photograph all our events, so chances are our cameras might catch you. These images might later be used for promotional materials of any kind or be placed on our website or social media. Should you have any objections against this, please inform us first thing at the entrance.

Dogs can bring their owners, on a leash, only if wearing a theme-inspired accessory. We prefer, however, that dogs who find pleasure in duck-hunting or child-smooching stay home. We also trust that you bring a small waste-bag to clean after your four legged friend.

In case the event gets cancelled due to sanitary, geopolitical or any other unpredictable reasons, you can transfer your ticket to a later event or get a full refund if such transfer is impossible.

You can also offer tickets for any or all of Moulin Jaune escapades as a gift!
