Rivers and valleys, walks in the gardens, picnics en plein air and dancing at the guinguettes are all beloved subjects for Impressionists. In May, the Moulin Jaune invites you to step inside their paintings and make marry the way they loved to do 150 years ago: a picnic on the grass, watching the sun’s reflections in a glass of wine, admiring the play of light and shadow in the trees, and of course, a dancing tea party.
For “Voyages impressionnistes, Instants de bonheur”, trace the footsteps of the artists who earned our region the name “Vallée des peintres”, Valley of the Painters.
Do you play the accordion? Bring it with you and surprise us with a tune at the entrance, it might just get you your entry ticket.
