Le Moulin Jaune is committed to 2 projects in 2023-2024 :
1 – La Prairie
In the middle of the Moulin garden, a naturalist garden is being created. «La Prairie», planted with grasses and perennials that requires little water and little maintenance, is carried out thanks to the support of the Department of Seine et Marne as part of the operation «Incredible gardens».
Around its decorated caravans and wagons, it is a welcoming place for biodiversity and synonymous with freedom and mobility, plants, animals and people. To accompany this creation, the Moulin Jaune sets up artistic and cultural education actions on the issue of adapting gardens to the climate, cycles of nature and develops poetry and imaginary projects related to grasslands and nomads of all kinds.
This Artistic and Cultural Education Project is supported by the Ministry of Culture – Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Ile-de-France
2 – Venice of the Brie and Commedia dell’ Arte
Crécy-la-Chapelle with its canals is “the Venice of the Brie”. This is the starting point of this 3-year partnership, led by the Collège Mon Plaisir in Crécy-la-Chapelle and the Moulin Jaune.
This project initiated and funded by the Ministry of Culture – Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs of Ile-de-France and the Department of Seine-et-Marne and supported by the Rectorat of Créteil, invites artists to intervene at the College throughout the year. The Théâtre Bouffon Odessa Company accompanied by clowns from Slava’s SnowShow will share with the students the keys of the Commedia dell’Arte.
The educational community, the commune join the theme for several restitutions in the spring.
