Le Moulin Jaune is a creative laboratory that welcomes artists from all walks of life, as well as craftspeople, landscape designers, and gardeners. With the house, the garden, and everyday life devoted to celebrating performance and imagination, the residencies are shaped in that same spirit.
Performing artists and visual artists — but also landscape designers, gardeners, cooks, costume makers, painters, architects, illustrators, carpenters… If you’d like to create work inspired by Slava’s universe, draw on the Moulin Jaune’s spaces (mostly outdoors) and resources, and share your research and creative process with residents, friends, or the local public, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Each year, Slava selects a few applications, generally inviting the chosen artists to take part in life at the Moulin Jaune (daily life, permanent or temporary installations, public open days, events).
The residency is unpaid, and a contribution to residency costs may be requested depending on your level of participation.
Residencies can be day-based, with or without accommodation, and for varying lengths of time.
The Moulin Jaune may also have projects that align with your research, and the residency may lead to a commissioned work.
Please write to us (in French, English, or Russian) at info@moulinjaune.com, introducing yourself, specifying the dates you have in mind, and attaching photos and videos of your work.
